Britney opens the 2016 Billboard Music Awards
It's been over seven (!!!) years since her last live solo television performance, but Britney made the worth all the while. She set foot on the Billboard Awards stage to perform a medley that included her biggest hits and fan favorites.
Arriving to the stage in a beautiful red trench coat designed by Mark Zunino, Britney opened the show with the fantastic "Work B*tch," which later segued into "Womanizer." Surrounded by her dancers, Britney brought some of her current 'Piece of Me' residency choreography to the stage, along with some brand new choreography by one of her backup dancers Chase Benz.
The following songs included: "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," "Breathe On Me," "I'm A Slave 4 U," "Touch of My Hand," and "Toxic." A costume change ensued on stage which revealed more of Brit's smokin' hot body in a skimpy red piece. It might cause a little controversy, but would it be a classic Britney performance without some controversy?!
Although she didn't perform any new music, it was very refreshing to see Brit conquer the stage on television again. Could we perhaps see more promo later in the year for B9?!
