Still on a BBMAs high? You won't come down after this Britey news.

Hit songwriter Justin Tranter ("Sorry", "Hands To Myself") has opened up about working closely with Britney on her upcoming pop masterpiece - tentatively known as "B9" - and shared nothing but praise for her oft-overlooked talents.

"Nobody ever talks about Britney as a writer and she's f**king great, like insane. Her concepts were bold and smart and very left of centre, in a good way," he said. "Melodically, she has melodies for days. How come no one mentions that this girl can write the f**k out of a song?"

Trainer reveals Britney requested to work with him and his writing partner Julia Michaels after recording their demos. "We got to work with her a bunch of times. She's the sweetest. A couple [of songs] we wrote on our own and then she wanted to write with us. She's an amazing writer."

As we know, Britney's talents are limited to pen and paper as her iconic voice is what makes the music so special. Tranter says, "She interprets the story - whether she's talking about fun and sex or talking about heartbreak, you feel it. [She gives] voice for days. The voice is so specific but it never ends - there's endless possibilities."

Whispers of "B9"'s sound have been huge since her manager Larry Rudolph name-dropped The Weeknd as an influence, and Justin has added more fuel to the fire: "Definitely a more alternative thing [is] happening. The stuff that I've worked on and that I've heard is definitely quite special, and it's amazing."

Britney's jaw-dropping resurgence isn't limited to the stage as it sounds like she's creating something incredible for this next era, and Tranter confirms she's having fun while doing so: "She's a f**king riot. Laughing her ass off, living her life - she's the best."

After last night's performance at the BBMAs, we have never been more ready for new Britney music. Save us, Queen!

"She is killing everyone again! She's ready to win."
