If you were convinced Britney was saving her new single "Make Me" as a surprise at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, wait til you see the setlist.
You know the story by now – it was reported Britney would premiere her new single this Friday online then perform it live at the T-Mobile Arena at the BBMAs. The Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach now says due to production delays, the single isn't ready in time and they're holding off until the end of summer. "I’m reliably told that technical production difficulties outside Brit and her management’s control have caused a delay in the scheduled release of the video and single until later this summer," he said. “There’s no point in Britney previewing it so far in advance if we don’t even have a new release date yet,” said an insider. "She is like us truly saddened that matters outside our hands have set back the hoped-for schedule. We’re told that it’ll now be later in the summer, but we don’t even know exactly when yet until production hiccups are resolved.”
Hopefully for the VMAs instead. A guy can dream, right?
Fans kept their head in the sand, hoping someone from Team Britney planted that story as a ruse to trick everyone and not spoil the surprise. Consider it spoiled, because someone connected to the show's production leaked Britney's medley setlist, which includes an intro, “Work Bitch,” “Womanizer,” “I Love Rock N Roll,” “Breathe On Me,” “Slave,” “Touch Of My Hand” and “Toxic.” The special effects used are the light sticks (probably from “3”) fog, pyro, smoke and lasers.
Looks like a condensed Piece Of Me! See below (screen shot just in case).
